Connecting multiple electric meters to one bus line

  1. Go to Settings - Hardware - TapHome Bus - unassign the bus terminal where you connected the electric meters

  2. Go to Settings - Hardware - Add new interface - Modbus RTU - From templates - search for your electric meter - Add

  3. Go to its detail. On top Terminals - assign the terminal - Bus1 or Bus2 or Bus3

  4. Don’t wire all the meters at once. It is crucial just to connect the first one.

Assign a high number to the first meter. It is important not to assign / to keep the number at 1 as it is default set when you buy it. If you have for example 5 meters, assign to the first one the Slave ID 5.

  6. Click on Service settings. Scroll to bottom. Click on Slave ID - the one on the bottom of the Service settings, not the one right here on top. Assign to it number 5 if you have 5 meters. Save the Service settings.

  8. Now you can connect the second meter to the same bus like the first meter. Repeat the same sequence like before - set Slave ID on top, go to Service settings, scroll to bottom, click Slave ID, set it to 4 if this is the second of the 5 meters you have.

  9. Repeat for the remaining meters one by one.
